Walden had a pond, but you can enjoy your own private 160 rolling acres overlooking Northeast Missouri’s picturesque landscape, anchored by the stunning 28 acre Willows Lake. Resident and migratory geese call it home, and in spring jealous hens defend their nests clustered on The Island. Turkey strut from the woodland to the expanding native grass stand at waters edge. Songbirds, finches and cardinals frequent lakeside trees and supplementary feeders scattered on the park like grounds. The stocked lake is available for swimming and fishing, and carefully managed to maximize your sporting opportunities. You can also visit the demonstration vineyards for a little bit of Napa in the Heartland.
